6.6/10
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was superb, right next to City Creek Mall and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in SLC, the rooms were a bit disappointing, being older and falling apart. The service, however, was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The dining options were overpriced for the quality offered. Overall, a nice hotel with some outdated aspects.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were a bit cold and old, with some maintenance issues. The hair dryers barely worked, and I've stayed in nicer rooms before. A bigger shower and an improved desk and chair setup would have been appreciated.
Service
9.0
The service was truly incredible. They quickly and efficiently moved me from a room with noisy neighbors and provided an executive room on the top floor. The staff was awesome, especially the lady at the front desk, who was lovely to talk to.
Location
8.0
The hotel is excellently located next to City Creek Mall and Temple Square, making it convenient to explore the city. However, some areas seemed a bit outdated despite newer interior improvements.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was overpriced for the quality and quantity offered. Paying $50 for two continental breakfasts seemed excessive compared to other hotels where it's complimentary.
Facilities
The hotel offers an array of facilities, from room service to valet parking, but the overall value for money didn't match the prices charged for certain services.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and offered a beautiful view of Salt Lake City, including the Mormon Temple, City Walk, and the mountains. However, they were a bit smaller than what I expected for a Marriott property. The connection to a hospitality suite with a Murphy bed was a unique touch.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were pleasant and functional, with a lovely view of the city. Just a bit smaller than the typical Marriott standard.
Service
7.0
The service at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in meeting our requests, though they seemed a bit put out at times when contacted.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, being right across from the Salt Palace and next to City Creek Mall. It was perfect for exploring downtown Salt Lake City.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were a bit overpriced for what was offered, but the food was delicious. However, it didn't matter what status I had as a loyalty member when it came to pricing.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel facilities were good overall, but there were some areas that could be updated to enhance the guest experience.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room we stayed in was a bit noisy, but we were fortunate to get a concierge's room with access to a private lounge, which had very comfortable beds. However, the room was a little small and lacked a microwave or refrigerator.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, being next to City Creek Mall right in the city center. It was perfect for exploring downtown and was within easy reach of various attractions.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience at the hotel was way above the standard hotel offering, although the continental breakfast for two was $50, which I found quite expensive. The concierge lounge closed earlier on Fridays, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the quality of the food was exceptional.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities at the hotel were good overall, offering services like room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and valet parking. However, the price for some services might be considered a bit high.
